0700 comes early! Especially when it is punctuated by the sound of the director’s whistle. Slowly the counsellors manage to get their boys out of the cabins and to the flag pole. The director calls “attention” and the boys line up - perhaps not with military precision, but not bad for 0720. Opening prayer, raising the flag, a few announcements, then it’s back to the cabins for morning devotions.
The sound of the bell at 0800 is welcomed by all - it means breakfast and at Teepee Pole, the meals are incredible. After breakfast it’s off to the day’s activities. That could be white water rafting, rappelling and rock climbing, shotguns and high power rifles, or any of a number of other outdoor activities. If Teepee Pole is anything, it is a camp of activity. Lunch may be by a fire at the side of the river, on top of the climbing cliff, at the beach by the lake, or wherever we happen to be.
By 1800 we’re ready for the main meal. Suppers at Teepee Pole are something to be experienced. After supper come the evening wide games. There’s nothing like a good game of Mat Ball or Capture the Flag to get the blood pumping! Mug up, then it’s off to campfire. The boys are challenged mentally and spiritually. This is what Teepee Pole is really all about. Summer camp is one of the best venues for boys to come to Christ. After campfire the weary campers and their counsellors head back to the cabins and off to bed. 0700 comes early!

Camp Teepee Pole is a camp for boys. Affiliated with Christian Service Brigade our motto is “to win and train boys for Christ.”
We are also an outdoor adventure camp. Our activities may include rock climbing, rappelling, white water rafting, backpacking and any of a number of other outdoor related activities.
In short, this is a place where boys can be boys while learning about God, their Creator.
